SynopsisOnly something as important as her best friend’s wedding to mob boss Gabriel Moretti could allow Nika Paynne a reprieve from captivity. Her abusive husband has kept her under his thumb with footage of her beloved brother, Caleb, killing another man. But the respite from her violent life isn’t the only draw. Vincente Romani—Gabriel’s deadliest guardian—will be one of the best men at the wedding, and Nika has lingering thoughts about the fascinating mobster…covetous thoughts that may put her life in danger. With the heartbreak he’s suffered and the brutality he effortlessly delivers, Vincente knows he’s the last person who can offer Nika a happily-ever-after. But his vow remains. He will do everything in his power to free his redhead from her violent prison—even if that means losing her forever. In the second thrilling and passionate Wanted Men book, a dangerous line is drawn between loyalty to the mob and loyalty to one’s heart.
Nika: She stays with a monster for love of her brother and dreams of The Reaper.
Vinente: Shared a stolen kiss with Nika- couldn't forget her
Salvation of Vengeance is tough, gritty, and filled to the brim with emotion. It has you fighting along side Nika to survive, fighting with the men as they combat their need to protect the ones they love from themselves, and fighting FOR them all. The story keeps your eyes to the page as the drama unfolds. It seems never ending and I love it. I love these characters and look forward to reading each story as they are written (especially Maksim and Tores's!!). The abuse could be hard to handle if you are sensitive to that, so be warned.
Nancy Haviland has written a fantastic book, great writing and character building. Great news, this can be read as a stand alone! so if you came into it late all good! But after reading it you will be buying Gabriel and Aria's book! For this book though I am seriously happy to give it 5 stars and would give it a baby dragon hording the jewels if I could! I loved these characters that much. Highly recommended!
