Book Trailer

A Cold-Hearted Phoenix was my first graphic novel. I found it very interesting to read a book that uses pictures to illustrate or help my own imagination see the things happening. The illustrations were good and they gave the bits of story they were showing a bit more emphasis. The writing was something new entirely and I had to work at getting use to it. The story was interesting. It was like reading a dark Jerry Seinfeld episode. Everyday life no plot really only that you know she broke her own rules. She is pretty OCD about a lot of things so this is a big deal.

I admit to being curious as to what will happen next. I hate leaving a book unfinished and that is basically how this is with 2 episodes left. Though this left us without cliffhangers and a conclusion with a promise of much more later. All in all it was intriguing for me to read something so outside what I have ever read.
My rating system is different from Amazon's where this will be a 3✰. See rating chart to the right.

Writing sucks. Period. That’s why I am an artist; illustrator and graphic designer who writes in a hobby basis. Oh, wait… That’s not the “why”… I was born artist, and there is nothing I can do to change it. But with all the imagination I have running lose, there came some stories… And there came some books! When I’m not doing artwork and illustration for authors and bands, I’m doing woodcarving, painting ornaments, painting artworks for myself, writing articles for IT’S ART MAG, collaborating with other artists and so on. Love Arts, History and Heavy Metal.Oh, and summer is a bitch! Always. Anywhere in the world.
