Wicked Magic by Madeline Pryce

Book Description

Samantha has almost everything she needs to inherit her magic. Everything but Trent, the sexy shapeshifter and local sheriff she’s lusted after her entire life. She’s known for years Trent is destined to be her familiar, but the last time she approached him he turned her down flat.

Trent isn’t about to fork over his bachelorhood to a witch, especially one he knows is too good for him. Turning her down once was easy—she’d been too young and innocent—but Trent never anticipated she’d grow into such an obstinate, sexy, entirely-too-tempting woman. When she serves herself up, deliciously naked, walking away suddenly becomes difficult.

Out of time, Sam focuses on enticing Trent into her bed and into her life. But Sam’s toying with a predator, and once Trent decides he wants her, beneath him and beside him, he’ll pour every ounce of his stubborn pride into protecting what’s his.

Madeline Pryce has done it again with this book! She has written something that kept me stuck to it's pages until I was done because I couldn't put it down! I loved the story line and the characters, so much so that this has become my favorite book by Madeline... at least until her next book comes out!

We meet Samantha at the bar where she works. She is stressing because she still hasn't caught the love of her life Trent, and thanks to her friends big mouth and their shapeshifter hearing EVERYONE knows she wants him. She has to catch her kitty to become a full fledged witch, but the cat in question refuses to be caught and has even hidden himself from her.

Until his brother set him up....

In walks Trent expecting a few beers and a night at the bar when Sam wasn't working. FAIL (grin) His brother set him up and loves every minute of it. Fireworks aren't as bright as the sparks flying when these two are together. Trent has to work hard to deny himself the one woman he truly wants.

Then it becomes even more interesting...

Some out of town wolves decide to cause a problem with Samantha in the middle. Trent can't have anyone hurting his citizens seeing as he is Sheriff, and he wont let anyone hurt Sam, but can he stop them before it is too late?

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. It is one I will enjoy rereading over and over again. Madeline Pryce is a wonderful author and a Super Lady! To keep in touch with her or stalk her like you know you wanna here are her links!

Look Again by Marliss Melton

Barnes & Noble

Marliss Melton has written a novella to introduce her new series Echo Platoon, the first book DANGER CLOSE will hopefully be released in August. Look Again is special because one it is a prequel, two it bridges the two teams SEAL Team 12 and Echo Platoon together, and third and most important the proceeds to the sale of this book goes to a non profit organization called Hero Dogs. Marliss wrote a fantastic blog post about this that is definitely worth a read. You can find it HERE

Book Description

Tyler Rexall never considered being anything besides a Navy SEAL. But a mission-gone-wrong has ended his career in the Teams, leaving Tyler handicapped, his self-identity obliterated. Returning to his hometown of Louisa, Virginia, Tyler wallows in despair. He has no idea that the young woman showing up on his doorstep with a dog holds his future in the palms of her hands.
Katie Crowley’s lifelong crush on the formidable “T-Rex” hasn’t waned one iota in the last decade. Seeing him beaten down and handicapped arouses her determination to help him, even as she’s being terrorized by a desperate man who is getting bolder by the day.
Can Katie convince a proud

We meet Katie Crowley during a shopping trip. She is having a moment of panic as she feels she is being followed, again. These moments sets off a PTSD attach but not a severe one that is immediately shut down when she turns the corner in the store and sees her High School crush Tyler Rexall. As he walks away she notices he is limping and his being home can only mean one thing. He is out of the SEALs.
Tyler Rexall is depressed and struggling but I don't think he realizes how much. He seems to be barely holding on. When Katie barrels in to his life, seemingly never noticing his missing foot, with a dog it turns his depressing world upside down and it is JUST what he needed.
I loved this book. Just like all of Marliss Melton's other books the falling in love part wasn't instant or easy. They had to work at it and it was difficult emotionally. These two had so many emotional scars, but they were able to deal with them together. Katie because of her training and work was able to help Tyler 'wake up' and Tyler was able to help Katie in ways she didn't think she would be able to over come.
This book was short but powerful. I look forward to reading the rest of this series!

Trial of Marriage Series Blog Tour

Amazon                                                                                                  Amazon
Goodreads                                                                                             Goodreads- not available ATM

I get the wonderful honor of hosting R Lynn Archie today in her last blog tour stop. She has given us her dreamcast, for those who have read this series can you see her characters in the people she picked or do you have someone else in mind? Comment below and let us know!

Dreamcast Character List

Angelique – Nicole Beharie
She came to mind when I thought about the perfect actress to play Angelique. I feel she can portray all aspects of the Angelique perfectly

Trey  - Eddie Cibrian
This wasn’t a hard pick. Eddie is good looking, gotta love his dimples and a smile you can melt into; the best choice possible to play Trey.

Angel – Jenifer Lewis
I needed an actress that was witty, likable and not afraid to say what’s on her mind and Jenifer is that person.

Amanda  - AnnaLynn McCord
This role required someone who parades sex appeal, a combination of classy and slutty attitude mixed together and wouldn’t think twice about doing something to get what she wants. AnnaLynne would be flawless in accomplishing Amanda’s role.

Bryn  - Ashley Greene
My persona of this character is one that is responsible, focused, a go getter and one that is willing to step in and help. I think of Ashley from Twilight and thought she would fit the role nicely.

Terri  - Rita Moreno
For Trey’s mom I was looking for a strong hot blooded, sassy Spanish female to play the role. I think back to Rita in West Side Story and the part had to go to her.

Frank  - Sam Elliott
Trey’s dad required a handsome mature male that could compliment the role of Terri and Sam Elliot fit the bill.

Cassie  - Lucy Lui
I was looking for someone who could portray being a high achiever and likable.

Jason – Alec Mapa
The character of Jason is a gay male who is flamboyant when he wants to be but also know how to professional dressed with class, outspoken, yet intelligent in his profession. I liked how Alec met those qualities and smart.

Tracy – Lauren London
Tracy is cute and friendly and independent but having trouble finding the right guy to compliment her life. Lauren felt right for the role in creating this character.

Chad  - Eddie Cibrian
This was a hard pick because no one could come close to being a near look alike for Trey. Instead, I choose Eddie in a different look to also play Chad.

If this dreamcast has whetted your appetite for 2 fab books the links to them are above so go check them out! Be sure to use the links below to give a shout out to the amazingly talented R. Lynn Archie!

A Little About R. Lynn Archie

My first love has always been reading.  Toying with the idea of writing for years, I finally decided to use my creative thoughts to write juicy romance eBooks.

When not writing, I'm spending time with my husband, sons, and grand-daughter, or enjoying laughs with my crazy, but lovable friends who I considers sisters from other mothers. Every day is a precious gift, and I'm enjoying it by doing what I'm passionate about.

Hawk by Patricia A Rasey

Book Description

Kaleb “Hawk” Tepes, as president of the Sons of Sangue and descendant of Vlad III, needs to keep his head focused on club business. Trouble is someone wants to divest him of it for a crime he committed against his vampire predecessors. He can’t afford distractions, especially those that come in the form of a five-foot-two sprite named Suzi, who once belonged to his nephew. In a moment of weakness, he makes a snap decision that can only spell trouble. Now faced with the one person who wants him dead, Kaleb must make the ultimate sacrifice or chance losing the only woman he truly desired forever.

Suzi Stevens has tried hard to put her past behind her and move forward. The one man she yearns for over all others, believes her to be nothing but cold-hearted. Hearing that someone has tried to behead him, she shelves past prejudices and rushes to his side, needing to see for herself that he’s all right. What she doesn’t count on is Hawk’s demand to take her as his personal blood donor. Now forced to endure his company, she fears losing her heart for all eternity to the one person who has the power to crush her.

Book Trailer

The Sons of Sangue are back with Hawk's story. I was hoping his would be next after reading Viper's. This story was NOT a disappointment. It fed my need for more Son's of Sangue!!! I hope you have read Hawks story though I wont be giving away spoilers because that ruins it for everyone, some things in my review will make you want to read it if you hadn't. Patricia A Racey did FANTABULOUS with Hawk and Suzi's story!

Kaleb 'Hawk' Tepes the younger brother to Viper and the new President of the Son's of Sangue MC has been searching for his brother and his brother's mate Clara for the past 6 months when he went AWOL. When a call comes in from their puppet club the Knights saying that Viper needed help Kaleb and some members loaded up and went even as he was questioning why his brother would call the Knights and not his own MC. Because of luck and a flat tire Kaleb survived an attempt to behead him that night, but unfortunately two of the MC's members didn't. Faced with survivors guilt he heads to Blood N Rave and tries his best to drink enough alcohol fast enough to beat his metabolism.

Suzi Stevens left Pleasant 6 months ago after her last run in with Hawk. She couldn't take any more of watching him with other women and she couldn't stand to be a donor to other men so she left and retired herself from being a donor to the vampires. When her roommate told her that someone tried to behead Hawk she had to see for herself he was OK, even though she knew it was a very bad idea. She didn't know just how bad an idea it was.

The beheading attempts continue and a clear picture of who is doing it is realized, but you can't stop someone you can't find.

This book is full of surprises!! I want to say so much more, but I could ruin it for everyone!! I'm just going to say, you will NOT be disappointed in this book and the next one just from the set up being written in this one is going to be explosive! I can't freakin wait!! Hawks story kept me thinking about it well after I was done reading it. I love how easily both these books flowed into the other. They have a wealth of details about the donating society and the Sons of Sague MC. You don't want to miss out on living it! This was another Fantastical book Patricia A Rasey!!
